Michigan Writers is seeking readers in the Grand Traverse region for the reading of Walt Whitman’s “Song of Myself.”
We’d like to give more writers the opportunity to submit this year, so we are extending the chapbook contest deadline to January 5th.
Beginning in January 2013, all Michigan Writers workshops will be offered to non-members for a modest fee of $10. MW members can continue to attend all workshops without cost.
Each year, the Michigan Writers Cooperative Press (MWCP) publishes winners of its chapbook contest. The purpose of the press is to help writers publish their first book in a literary genre.
